New Yaoi OVA: Tight Rope Anime!

I'm so happy~!!! I just found (I know, I'm slow), that the manga, Tight Rope has an OVA! WHOO HOO!! I just love that manga! That reminds me, I never did a yaoi recommendation on it! I have two manga's today in this post! *Looks at the clock* I'm blogging pretty late.........good thing I have no work until 5 pm! I get to sleep in anyways! Wait.....I have to do Music theory and practice my piano! That sucks.......ARGH.

I just fell in love with the couple instantly! The two are quite a pair. I love it when the uke can actually fight back and defend himself! He isn't weak and pathetic! I love ukes like that! Its nice to see who can take control of the situation when the seme wants to do something. Nao ends up beating up Ryuu when he want to "H" things. Its actually quite funny!

The storyline is utterly amazing! It makes me laugh, cry, mad and happy. I just the OVA with all my heart! Though they of course miss a bit of parts, the producers got the gist of Tight Rope. I'm really sad that the story is short.......that means the OVA will be short! I've noticed that there hasn't been very many BL animes coming out lately......oh well. The second OVA came out today and I'm watching it right now! :D I'm enjoying it so much!

The art is stunning. The storyline is so cute yet dark. It's amazing! I love this manga to bits! Ougi Yuzuha, you are amazing! > x < I really want more of Kouyhei and Mari............you'll know what I'm talking about once you read the manga! You won't regret it! This manga is soo funny and beautiful! Hot guys alert......haha!

Yaoi Challenge Day 20: Favorite Theme (School life, Vampires, Neko..etc)

GAH! I'm running behind!!! I'm sorry! I'll get to the challenge right now!! > x <

Ok, my favorite theme is probably the school life with a touch of fantasy. Actually, I don't have a favorite theme! I usually only read school life but I don't see any yaoi's that have to do with fantasy half the time. Love Pistols is pretty funny and Seito Kaichou ni Chuukoku is a very interesting school life yaoi. I just don't know, I love all kinds of themes! I really go for yaoi's that actually have a storyline. When I'm bored, I'll even have the liberty to watch an anime with none or with a storyline.

I love this manga!! It took me a while to find the manga after I watched the OVA but I eventually found it. I'm so in love with it! > x < The storyline is so amazing! The art is ok but not overly bad. I've seen worse.

I can't stop laughing.......this manga is outrageous! There is something about this manga/anime that makes me love it. I think its the "H" scenes and the uke makes me love it so much. It makes me laugh! Oh, the art is adorable! :D

Yaoi Challenge Day 3: Favorite animated yaoi

Great, another hard question! > x < I already did Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi........let me pick another one! I'm so torn between one right now! It sucks to have watched/read many animes/mangas!


Just so you know, Yaoi anime are........70%-ish safe. The anime for Sekai-ichi Hatuskoi had nothing bad in it. Just kissing. I can handle kissing. When you get to the manga, there will be some....scenes. I got used to them by now so if you are just a beginner, just stick to the cute Shonen-ai stuff. I recommend Gravitation (scroll down for a manga recommendation!). Don't read the doujinshi's!!! Some Doujinshi's and Yaoi is more....intense.



This picture is an example of a doujinshi for D.gray-man. Allen and Kanda wouldn't normally do that!If you look closely, the art style is a tad different from the original. These next two are not the original! The art looks amazing though!

So what are Doujinshi's? Doujinshi's are basically the fan-fiction of manga. Usually different mangaka's would draw the original manga into a story that fans might like. In the real manga of D.gray-man there is Allen and Kanda. There are yaoi fangirls who love the pairing of Allen and Kanda. So artists would make a fan-fiction or doujinshi of D.gray-man consisting the relationship of Allen and Kanda. Warning! Yaoi Doujinshi's can be really extremely intense!! Beware!!!


Ok! My runner up for favorite animated yaoi is.......Ikoku Irokoi Romantan. Or maybe Koisuru Boukun? ARGH! This sucks! I can't pick one!! > x < Both animes are really funny and sexy.......I love them!!! I also love Uraboku.......fine! I choose Uraboku to be my favorite animated yaoi! (Techinally its shonen-ai.....oh well!)

Ikoku Irokoi Romantan and Koisuru Boukun have been both adapted to OVA's and Uraboku has a full fledged anime. Hotsuma and Shusei are.......*drools* *HOT*

This anime is just amazing! It is brilliant for encorporating music and boy romance. I love the music! The anime is really funny and great! You have to watch it!! :D :D

OVA: Hiyokoi!!

I am sorry that I haven't been posting anything for quite a while but here ya go! Its sooo warm outside = 0 =
...........wait.....how does weather have to do with this?? Anyways, I was looking on the web what to read or watch. Then I came across this OVA on animeseason.com. For those that don't know what OVA means, it means Original Video Animation. Its not necessarily a series and is often short, usually 1 or 4 at the most. Some mangas are turned into OVA's cause they are short, popular but not popular enough to earn a full airing anime. Or OVA's are usually an extra part of the story that hasn't been mentioned. For example Maid-Sama! After the 26 episodes was done (Why did it have to end?!?! Well the Manga is ongoing so thats good....) they created an OVA cause the anime was a success and plus the OVA is pretty funny.

So now I come to my point now.......I found an OVA of Hiyokoi. I watched it and it was soo good! I wonder if there is a manga? What am I talking about? There should be! Oh Thank you, oh dear sweet internet! I found that you can read it online on http://www.mangafox.com/manga/hiyokoi/.

In the middle of introducing herself a boy named HiroseYuushin (109cm) walks in. He is always in a positive mood and open, the total opposite to Hiyori. She has to sit next to him but can he get rid of her shyness? Or something more?



In a way this manga reminds me of Kimi ni Todoke......I mean Hiyori and Sawako Kuronuma are similar. Sawako is avoided cause of her appearance and Hiyori is just overly shy and short. In both stories there is a guy there always there with her. If you haven't read Kimi ni Todoke then.......I hope you get the time to read it. Its very very good! It won a Kodansha Manga award! I really love it!

I really really really love the art! The art I've seen it somewhere before..........why does most shojo's art styles almost look the same? I mean the art of Hiyokoi reminds of Haruta Nana's Chocolate Cosmos (really good manga!). But thats just me. Anyways the manga totally deserved an anime! I really love the cuteness and the love developing between characters. I know Hiyori can be frustrating but slowly her shyness goes away. I love how that one guy can change her forever. Love is in the air~!
