My addiction to Action and Mystery Drama's

At school, we started on short stories and reading mystery stories, like Sherlock Holmes. I just watched the new movie, Sherlock Holmes and I really think this guy is pretty cool and amazing. I am now into the Sherlock Holme stories and now into stuff that kinda near mystery and such.

As of now, I have been watching a whole wack of drama's with action like Jackie Chan and mystery like the t.v show, CSI or whatever. I'm not really sure if the drama's that I've watched is as gruesome as CSI but yeah.  I'm really addicted to them right now! > x <

Title: Spy Myung Wol
Type: Korean Drama
Genres: Comedy, Romance, Action
Age Rating: 13+ Teen
Status: Completed

Summary: (wiki) An elite North Korean spy, Han Myung Wol, and her partner, Choi Ryu, infiltrates South Korea on a mission to disrupt the Hallyu Wave by kidnapping one of their top stars, Kang Woo. Despite her proficiency at her job, Myung Wol's one weakness is her uncontrollable curiosity. Hijinks ensue when she falls in love with Kang Woo instead.

I personally think that this drama is really amazing and crafted into a great story with action, romance (I just love the romance!) and comedy. It's so great!!! > x < I can't help but think how cool Myung Wol is when she beats the socks out of people. :D Even her character is really adorable! Wait! Kang Woo is the one that should take that title! It's so funny! You have to watch it!!

The character Myung Wol has no idea what love feels like because she has been training all the time and she has no time to do anything with a guy. I really love the development she has with Kang Woo. Throughout the drama, she gradually develops a feeling for him. Same goes to him. He is so arrogant and short tempered but he seems to start to grow some strong feelings for her. I just love how it turns out!! Sigh! It makes me happy thinking about the things they have been through. I just the story!

It's really cool how the story turns a different direction each time and I (I think its just me, who knows) never expect it. You'll know what I mean if you watched it. :D

It kinda bothers me that the whole thing is a "mission". I don't know why but it just does. I just hate it how they treat it like that. Either way, the story turned out to be really good so I don't blame them that they made it a "mission".

I love the actors!!!! The guys are soo hot! >Dies<

Just so you know, I'm like on episode 4 or 5. So far it's acceptable for my standards. Wait, I think its really really really really really cool!

Also I think its really cool to see a house wife turn into a completely different person when she does her job. I love her methods of how to solve problems and the case. The way she fights makes me want to respect her. She is really cool! I love the action!!

Photobucket

The storyline is just amazing! It has a very light humor, it's not overly funny but acceptable. It's really cute! I love her kid!! :D

Title: HUNTER Sono Onnatachi Shoukin Kasegi

Rei then becomes a bounty hunter earning money from cash rewards place by the government on unsolved cases. Rei forms a team for her new job with a junior flight attendant and a housewife.

This is quite an interesting drama. Rei Isaka is a really cool and pretty lady. It's pretty sad that she doesn't have a boyfriend.

Anyways, I just got into this drama and I personally think it is ok and a little too cheesy for me. I think it will get better and I'm still curious about it. I love the different characters too!

Boy Band News- 4 Member band?

I recently got the news that the boy bad NEWS is now a four member band. What is up with that???? I'm really sad!!! Ryo Nishikido and Tomohisa Yamashita left the group.......why?!?! It will never be the same without them!! I really loved it when there was six of them! T_T

According to Wikipedia (I just had to look it up), Ryo left because of schedule of problems and it made him less active with the group. He decided to continue with another band, Kanjani Eight. I am also a fan of that band! ^_^ Yamashita left because he wanted to concentrate on solo projects. Sigh.....I miss them!!!

Ryo is really hot!! >///<

Even Tomohisa.......I think I love him the most!!! Kyah~!!!! 0////0

No matter what happens, I will support them all! I love you news!!

Drama Fever!

First off I would like to start of with.......I'm really happy!!! Just a while ago was my first singing concert with a choir I just joined! I suck at singing but I must admit, singing with pro's are fun.

Pro's? Oh, well they are teenagers like me but they have more singing experience than me. I just started. I think I'm doing ok. Their voices are soo amazing!! I'm in total bliss when I listen to them. It makes me extremely happy! Though I can't figure out how to sing loud.......

Today it snowed!!! There was soo much and it was colder today! I was sooooo extremely very happy!! It just made my day! Don't look at me funny! I prefer the cold than the warmness......is that even a word? Oh well.
Anways, that is what I have been doing for the past few days other than tests and homework. I have a giant French unit exam on Tuesday (yay me!). I apologize for not posting in a while once again. I have no better excuse. I'm sorry! > x <

Whenever I had time I would try to watch lots of Drama's and Anime's and most of the time, I never had time to post because I just into the drama or anime. I haven't found any good anime's for me to watch so I just went for the drama's because well, I don't watch very many of them. I recently got into the Korean Drama, Warrior Baek Dong Soo. I feel really bad for not watching this drama a while ago. But I have started it now so it is all good! :D

Title: Warrior Baek Dong Soo
Type: Korean Drama
Genres: Comedy, Action, Adventure
Status: Completed
Age Rating: 16+ Older Teen

Summary: Set in the Joseon Dynasty during King Jeongjo's reign, this martial-arts fusion sageuk is centered around the events involving Crown Prince Sado's conspiracy. Warrior Baek Dong Soo was a real-life legend who created a martial arts guide in Joseon. His group who defends King Jeongjo is pitted against the mysterious organization of assassins who plot to kill the King. (wikipedia)

The storyline is really amazing!!! I feel like it started out pretty slow in the beginning. But after that, it started to get really interesting. I was really drawn to the layered storyline and awesome action! It really inspires me to learn some Karate. But I'm not that coridinated to do Karate. I would probably get myself killed trying kick someone.

The bonds between the characters are so touching. I always find myself crying when one of the characters are like at the brink of death. Especially when his/her friend is crying for them. I just have this emotional attactment with the characters! They are amazing actors!

The actors are extremely hot!!! I really love this one character, Yeo Woon, whenever he shows up and shows off his sweet fighting skills...I practically die!! >/// x ///<   I love you~!!!

Title: Flower Boy Ramyun Shop
Type: Korean Drama
Genres: Comedy, Romance, Slice of life
Status: Ongoing
Age Rating: 13+ Teen

Summary: Yang Eun Bi is a college student studying to become a teacher. She wants to live a normal life like everybody else. Marry a nice guy and get a stable job and live in a nice house. Unfortunately for her, its not that easy.

She has a pretty bad temper and she can't seem to pass the exam......and this year she has to pass it. Or the next year is the 3rd year that she has to take it, which she thinks is a bad luck year. Thanks to a fortune teller, whoever she kisses will be her "destined" partner. That same day, she meets Cha Chi Soo, the son of the head of the biggest food corporation in Korea. Due to events, he almost kisses her.

After meeting him again, she assumes that he is wayy older than her. But that isn't true. She goes to a high school and she becomes a teacher (ish.....I forgot what she was doing but I know she was some kind of assistant teacher or temporary teacher of some sort). She meets Cha again. This time she asks him if he can go out with her.

After her first class, tt turns out that he is a high school student. Great.

At first, I thought Eun Bi was just completely nuts. I didn't really like her character at the beginning but as the story kept going, her character developed a bit and it made love her right away. She is really cool when she plays volleyball and her temper just makes most of her. She is really interesting.

I really love the storyline! It's great! I thought that after the first 5 episodes were like, "meh" to me but certain parts had its great times. After the episode 5, it was just amazing. I'm really mad that this drama is ongoing and the episodes don't seem to be coming out fast enough!! > x <

I really love the guys in this drama! Cha Chi Soo and Choi Kang Hyuk are just soooo funny!! They are total players when you first see them. Plus, they are really hot!! *Dies* Why does Korean guys have to really hot?!?

Title: Painter of the Wind

Kim Hong Do is the man who teaches Yoon Bok how to paint, and they develop a strong friendship of mentor and disciple.

I feel pretty bad that I haven't watched this drama a while ago. It is really amazing!! I just watched the first episode (I know that is pretty sad) and I fell in love with it. The storyline is different. Art is involved and I really love art. I also really love gender benders. I have nothing much to say but you have to watch it! You will not regret it!!! I feel like there is alot that will be going on after the first episode. You have to watch it!!

Happy Halloween!!

I know Halloween in Canada was yesterday but I didn't have time to post yesterday! Man this month is going pretty fast. I can't believe it's November already......that means a month or so until my birthday!

Guess what??! For the first time in my life (I think), I went trick or treating!!! I had sooo much fun!!! I know, I have no life but my parents don't like Halloween but this year, they let it go. My siblings were pretty psyched. I didn't dress up but my siblings did. They went as pirates. I was "supervising" them and I ended up trick or treating wih them. I got my own big pillowcase full of candy. I was really happy about that! Heheh......chocolate....... (drools)

At my school yesterday, there were pretty interesting costumes. One teacher dressed as a lego person. His costume was made out of card board and I'm kicking myself because I didn't take a picture of it. But it kinda looked this.

His outfit was painted Black and green to match what he was wearing. I'd say, it was probably my favorite costume this year.

Also my best friend's costume was pretty downright awesome. She dressed up as the MC from some musical. I forgot what it was called. She had this sweet suit with tails (I love tails!), a sweet hat and a cane! I loved it!! Her makeup was really cool too!!! > x <

I didn't dress up of course and I wore normal clothes that day but my friends kept calling me Kirby because I wore a pink sweater and jeans. I am not Kirby!! I'm not fat!!! But I am cute. Haha!

I know I haven't been posting very often but I have my reasons (argh, school). I practically live in my room (that is really true) studying for some test, taking a nap from the lack of sleep, reading a novel that has to be read for school or........doing homework and some other stuff. I don't have time to read manga or watch very much anime. I'm sad and a failure for an otaku!!

*Ahem*.....That aside, other than school getting into my way, I somehow manage to get some time to read manga and watch anime. I think staying up late watching Hikaru no Go is the reason why I'm tired today......(shrugs shoulders). Or maybe just studying for another science test. I have so many of those. I hate science.....

It also snowed for a bit yesterday!! I love snow!!! I wish it would snow tomorrow.....

What is wrong with being an Otaku? Geez.

Anyways, I have running been around and debating on watching the anime for so long. I know Hikaru no Go has been around for a long time and I am one of those people who hasn't watched it yet. If you are surprised, please don't look like that. (If not, just skip this part) I bet there are some people in the world who haven't heard of Naruto, Bleach, Inuyahsa and some other popular manga's in the world. It's true! I met a person who- wait a second.......no that's a lie. Nevermind. Just ignore that last comment.

Have you met people who have heard of the manga/anime and never read/watched it? Well, I'm that type of person. I have heard of Gintama and +Blood but I have never read the manga or watched the anime. There are quite a bit of them but I won't go on. The list may be endless. Most of the time, out of a whim, I would try to watch the anime or read the manga.

File:Hikaru no Go.jpg

Title: Hikaru no Go
Author: (Story) Yumi Hotta and (Art) Takeshi Obata (Artist of Bakuman and Death Note)
Genres: Shonen, Fantasy, Comedy, School life, Supernatural
Reading Direction: Right to Left
Age Rating: 13+ Teen
Status: (Anime) Completed and (Manga) Completed

Summary: (mangareader.net) After stumbling across a haunted Go board, irresponsible Hikaru Shindo discovers that the spirit of a master player has taken up residence in his consciousness. In his pursuit of the Divine Move, Fujiwara-no-Sai awakens in Hikaru an untapped interest and genius for the game, and soon the schoolboy is chasing his own dream--defeating the famed Go prodigy Akira Toya!

I just love the anime! I just started on two (or a couple? I lost track) Sundays ago (I stayed up until 2 am, no joke) and I'm currently on epsiode 14, 15......around there. If you think that isn't alot, I watched that many on Sunday. I had sooo much homework. I'll let you think for a second on how much 14-15 episodes on Sunday was well, good and bad in a way.

Try watching an anime while studying for a science test. Pretty Hard. Staying up until 2 am. Pretty late for me.

Hikaru No Go 1 - Page 3

Anyways, I'm really addicted!

So far (I'm at like episode 16), I think that the anime has so much potential, inspiration, comedy and a whole bunch of things! I'm really in love with the art. I think it's really cool!! It gets better and better! I couldn't believe that the artist was Takeshi Obata. I was like, "Your my hero!" I really love his art alot!

I was looking at some video's and images of Hikaru no Go and I spotted older Hikaru!!!
Oh. My. Gosh.

The man is hot. He may look pretty average but he is not too bad. Too be honest, when I saw the picture, it partly made me decide to watch the anime until the very end. I know, I'm weird. Also the storyline partly also made me want to watch the anime until the very end.

The storyline is really interesting and unique. I'm really intrigued by the game of Go. Of course I have never heard of the japanese game Go until this anime. I wanted to know alot more about Go so I kept watching.

File:Go board part.jpg

The game Go is really interesting. I'm slowly getting what the characters are sorta doing but most of time, I have no clue what the heck they are doing. The game is pretty confusing......but I just go with it and pretend that I know how they are playing the game for now.

Title: Alice in the Country of Hearts, Hearts no Kuni no Alice
Author: (Art) Soumei Hoshino and (Story) Quinrose
Genres: Fantasy, Comedy, Shojo, Adventure, Action, Romance
Reading Direction: Right to Left
Age Rating: 16+ Older Teen (Honestly, there is nothing wrong with it)
Status: Ongoing

Summary: (from Tokyopop) Wonderland is offically at war! And Alice is trapped in the middle of it all. Will she make it out alive? A little arrogant, stubborn, and determined to get back home, Alice isn't fazed by these challenges....until she discovers that every man is gun crazy and weirdly in love with her. What's going on in Wonderland?!

First of all, I got intrigued by the art and two, the part where it said guns I was like, "I'm going to try it". I am pretty a violent person. Also the part where it said, Wonderland really wanted me to read it. I'm really fond of the story of Alice in Wonderland. I was pretty excited when I heard there was a manga form of it. Also there's a movie!! WAH! I'm going to totally watch it!! > o <

The story is quite interesting. I sorta had a feeling like there would be some kind of reverse harem in this manga. I get pretty freaked out when the guys are like in love with her. I get curious why because usually guys you just meet never fall in love with you in an instant. I can understand if only one guy would but a whole bunch? That's pushin it. In total (I'm estimating) the girl meets about 7-10 guys and they happen to fall in love with her.

Anyways, I really do recommend this manga if you like the mix of violence and romance.

The art is really good!!! I'm in love with the guys (of course) and the clothes, I really love! I love to use it as a reference when I draw clothes.
