Manga/Drama Recommendation: Mei-chan no Shitsuji

Today was my second day working at Mcdonalds (my first day was on Tuesday) and I found out that working at Mcdonalds is fun! I don't care what you people think, as long as I have people I know, get paid and have fun. I enjoy working at Mcdonalds. You know what? Being Cashier is kinda difficult. I love getting orders to people like getting the french fries and whatever but Cashier is hard. There are so many buttons!! Sigh......why are there many buttons????

Of course I like the manga better than the drama but I say that the drama is pretty well done. Of course the drama has its cheesy parts and skipped parts but I like it. The actors acted out very well, close to their characters. 



The art in the manga is just adorable, cute and awesome. The guys are just hot. To be honest, I like Kento better in the manga....he looks alot more hotter to me. I still like the real life one but still.



The thin lines are so beautiful. The girl eyes are soooo cute and detailed!! The guys.....I have nothing to say but.....they are extremely hot!!! KYA!!! > x < I really love the art!!

The story is really good, it has its twists and surprises which are good. I couldn't stop reading when I got to a certain part. I ended finishing reading the manga.....I'm still waiting for stupid chapters!! They are taking too long!!!



I think the butler thing is pretty interesting. I really hate this one character right now.....grrr......anyways! I get frustrated with Mei at this certain point. If only she would look at Kento too. Sigh......I would take you Kento!!!



The characters are enjoyable and fun. I love all the supporting characters! They make the story happen. It allows character development. I just love them! :D

On April 22, 2009, Mei-chan no Shitsuji was awarded for best drama and Takeru Sato was awarded for best supporting actor at the 60th Japanese Drama Academy Awards.

WAH! SKIP BEAT DRAMA!!!! EXTRAVAGANT CHALLENGE!!!

As you read from the title, Skip beat is getting a drama! I have no idea when it is coming out so don't ask me. As long as it actually comes out and there is english subs then.....I can wait. Wait, cross that out. I can't wait. I wanna see the drama soooo bad!!! I'm sooooooo excited!!!!! > x <



The drama will be in Taiwanese. The actors are pretty cool and cute. Mogami Kyoko will played by Ivy Chen. Choi Si Won (From the boy band, Super Junior) as Tsuruga Ren (total hotty~!) and Fuwa Sho will be played by Lee Dong Hae (he is hot too!!! <3 Also from Super Junior). I can't forget Kyoko's friend, Kotonami Kanae (Jiang Nanqing) who will be played by Bianca Bai.

Hello August! Manga + Drama Recommendation!!

Did you hear??? Today is August 1st!!! July is over!! School is getting near!!! AHH!! Well thats what I feel. I don't mind going to back school. I've gotten wayy lazier. Believe me.

Time for an explanation of why I haven't posted in a while!! If you don't want to read my explanation, just scroll down to see my Manga recommendation and Drama recommendation!

Sigh.....I'm sorry for not posting in a while. I had to go places and a camp. Of course my mother made me go with the family. The trip was ok (I hate sitting in the car for too long!!). We stayed in a Hotel for the first night then went to camp.....I'm not a big fan of camping. I like staying outdoors but......whatever. I'm not going to talk about it.

We went to a river though!

Oh, just to tell you, I just got back......I quickly helped put my family's stuff in the house out of the car. Belive me, its horrible carrying things back to the house. Not to mention the amount of stuff we have. I'm dead tired and totally sore (don't ask why).

After everything was done, I rushed to the computer (I haven't been on the computer since what? Thrusday?) and checked mangafox.com and mangareader.net for new chapters (from what I just read, Defense Devil ended!! NOOO!!! Hope for a sequel!!). I also checked animeseason.com for new episodes. After I checked my blog. So far, I haven't really missed much.

Well, I will now give a Manga recommendation and a Drama recommendation to end this post.

Short review....

Not the best gender bender manga I've read. Its certainly cute and romantic. Typical sterotypes. The dudes are hot and the girls are cute. I think the guy is pretty cool. The girl's character bother's me. Just another typical shojo storyline. Sigh....

The story and art is ok. Not the worst.

Overall, its worth a read. As I've said, its not the worst manga I've read.



Title: Secret Garden

That meeting sparks a bickering and romantic relationship. Due to certain events, their bodies switch to make things wayy more complicated.



You know what my problem is? I'm still on episode 4 and I don't want them to switch bodies!! Gil Ra Im and Kim Joo Won are utterly cute and awesome together!!! I wonder what will happen to them when they switch bodies???? ARGH! I'll just watch it anyways!! I'm gonna go for it and see how it will go!!!!

Right from the get go, I fell in love with the character Kim Joo Won. He is just soooo cute! I love his funny Track suit! HAAHAHAHAH!! If you saw him......I bet you won't forget it. I certainly don't! His character is memorable. He is pretty hot..... :D



Gil Ra Im is sooo cool! I love her!! I wish I met a girl like her.....she is so pretty!!! Oh!! She won a couple awards. One of them was 2010 SBS Drama Awards: Best Couple Award with Hyun Bin (Kim Joo Won- Secret Garden).

Isn't she pretty??? She looks cool with short hair but with long hair.....she still looks really really pretty with either!!

The story is just amazing, cute, awesome, intriguing, romantic and just full of comedy. As you read before, I'm currently still on episode 4. When I read the summary again, I forgot that they will eventually switch bodies.......(sniff) I don't want them too yet!! (Just ignore me)



I have nothing to complain about the storyline. I just love the comedy!! I can't stop laughing about Kim Joon Won's Track suit. Sigh.....this drama makes me sooo happy and it makes my heart just flutter when it comes to the romantic scenes......^_^

You must watch this drama!! It is totally amazing!!!!

Manga Recommendation: Tegami Bachi

Guess what?! I got a job at Mcdonalds!! I need money and I have nothing else to do during the summer so......I got a job! Finally! :D Its my first job by the way!



Before I got the job at Mcdonalds, I got caught up reading this manga, Tegami Bachi. At first I didn't want to read it because the summary didn't really make sense to me. My friend told me it was really good but I just couldn't get into it. Well I was bored one day and I needed something new to read. I just went with it and read the manga.

You know what? I fell in love with it instantly. I loved it so much that I had to do a recommendation on it. Also I wanted to watch the anime. The anime is pretty accurate so far (I'm only on episode 3). I will praise them for that.

Title: Tegami Bachi, Letter Bee

He is entrusted with the "hearts" of the everyone in Amber Ground to deliver their packages.



I LOVE THE ART! It is sooooooo overly good and amazing!!!! The lines, the flow of hair, the clearness and delicateness of the eyes, shading, clothes, girls  (they are sooo beautiful~!) and guys......ARGH!!!! The art is sooo amazing!!! I love it!!!

Just to tell the world, I'm in love with Gauche and Lag......Gauche is sooooooo hot~! And Lag is really cute! I love them! I think chapter 29 is probably the most saddest and epic chapter I've read so far. Lag was so cool in it!!!

The story just makes me speechless. I have never read anything like it! Letter that contains 'Hearts'. I don't think anyone would think of that kind of story line! I think its awesome!!!

Of course the story involves a whole bunch of characters. There is always one character that wants to aim for the top. You always see your typical stereotypes in Shonens especially this one.

The characters have time to develop at their right pace. I love they interact with each other. If one character has this type of character, it will cause one character to develop.

When you get into it, the story gets deeper and deeper. It keeps the reader wanting more (of course I would because the chapters aren't coming out fast enough!). Its so suspenseful, fun, unqiue and original. I'm a simple person so almost anything can make me happy and like it. I'm just that weird and simple. ^_^

You know what? This manga is soo touching and inspiring!! I've written and sent letters before. But I just never imagined that there was feelings in letters. (Sigh) This manga me realize how much letters are important to us. I get really happy when I get letters myself! Its really fun to send letters!



Chapter 34 is just touching.....I cried my heart out. I'm not spoiling anything! I'm just saying that chapter 34 just made me emotional! If your curious.....read the manga!!

Drama/Manga Recommendation!! Goong Princess Hours

Its been a while since I've recommended a Drama. This Drama is also a Manga. I love both the Manga and Drama. I love the actors but I still love the Manga better.

This Drama/Manga is so heart warming! I love it! The actors acted soo awesomely!! They matched the characters in the manga but of course the story didn't follow the manga perfectly but overall, I love the Drama!

If you have watched the Korean Drama 1st Shop Coffee Prince, the actor who played Go Eun Chan (Yoon Eun-hye) also plays in Goong as the main character- Shin Chae-Kyeong. She acted out soo well! I was so happy!!



The art for the manga is sooo good!! I really love Korean mangaka's!! The eyes, body, boys and girls....they are all amazing!!! So elegant and beautiful!!! :D The guys are soo hot......

"Rape Me" Man, the way he said it.....HAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!! That's so great!! :D I can't stop laughing!! > o <

This manga is pretty freaking awesome. I love the storyline is soo funny and fun. I want more chapters.......I can't wait!! Its too good!!

I really love the storyline!! Its soooo good!!! Its different which is great!!! I love the comedy, romance.....and the maturity!!! Its pretty awesome!

I heard that Tokyopop published this manga.....OH MY GOSH!! I want it!!! This manga is soo awesome! I don't care if its old!!! I love it!!! The story is sooo cute!!! I cried a couple times because it was sooo funny or it was pretty sad, it made my heart throb with pain....its soo great!! I love the expressions on the characters faces!! Its priceless!!



Title: Meru Meru Mail

The story is sooo cute!!! I really love it! I cried a little bit.....I was quite content with the ending. The art is pretty good and cute. If you want to read a short Shojo story, I recommend this manga.

How old am I again?

Sigh.....first it was soo warm for the past few days but now its raining like every single day!! I love it!! I leave my window open at night and I love to listen to the sound of rain outside. Its so relaxing......^_^

 

I'm sorry for not posting once again........I've been so lazy and I can't get on the computer because I have music theory (I hate it) and some drivers test to study for. Also I have tons of chores to do!! I cleaned my room......(I can see the floor!!!) it was pretty much torture. I cleaned my drawing drawer. Yes, you read right. I have a drawing drawer. I put all my drawings in it. Its sooo clean!! Believe me, I filled almost 2 garbage bags full of paper. Don't worry, I'll recycle them! I wanted to burn them.....

Do you know what is the worse thing about cleaning my room??? Cleaning my closet!! Since I am a girl (and a tomboy), I have tons of clothes, thanks to my mother. I don't wear them all and I don't like many of them. Its so full of clothes on the floor, stuff animals......gum, more paper, drawings......who knows what else. I survived cleaning my closet and yeah. I'm proud of myself. I can finally see the floor of my closet!!! Its so clean!!! YAY~!



Anyways, what is wrong with me? Do you know what I have been doing for the past few days?? (Other than cleaning my room and closet, reading manga and watching a whole bunch of anime, lazying around, studying...) I've been watching Barbie movies......

I am a grown teenage girl and I'm watching Barbie movies. Don't look at me like that! I am proud!!! I still love Disney movies and the kiddy movies.



Oh, you know what my favorite Barbie movie is??? (Yes, you have to read what my favorite Barbie movie is) Barbie: Princess and the Pauper. I love that movie!! I still remember watching it when I was a kid......brings back so many memories!



They give me great drawing ideas and they aren't that bad. I know they are predictable and all but what can you expect from a kids movie? The guys are pretty hot too. I don't care what you people think!! I still love them!!!

This manga is sooooo adorable, cute, beautiful and worth the read!!!! I love it!!! I fell in love with the art and the story made my heart jump for joy~! Its sooo good!! Too bad its a One Shot......I wonder how it would turn out if it was a full manga?

Ayakawa is sooo hot!!! Just putting that out there....
