Life is depressing...

Hey guys! Whats up? Sorry I haven't been on blogger lately... College has started up again haha! The second semester for my course is EXTREMELY stressful. I have at least 20-30 chapters to read before each class. I'm just taking a quick study break...(It might even end up an hour study break).

You know what is awfully depressing? Tuition fees.

My mom almost cried because she took me shopping because I was stressed and didn't do anything but study and cry. Thats not the thing that made her cry. It was my response to the shopping that made her cry.

She said, "Anak (Filipino for, daugther..my child), I'm giving you 100 dollars"

I said, "Can I just use it towards my textbooks for college?"

.....

And... yeah. I have certainly set my piorities straight.

Plus, my answer to everything has to do with bills, school and work. Since when did I grow up? Just kidding.

Hey guys!! I'm sorry about that......I'm alive?

I know. Question mark. I have Diplomas this......week and I'm internally freaking out. I've been more on tumblr lately and I feel bad that I haven't been blogging but I also need to study :( I'm blogging about one anime today, hopefully after the diplomas I will make the blogging process more frequent. ^_^

Summary: (animeseason.com) On the first day back after summer break, high-school student Aoba is attacked by a giant robot that appears out of the sky. As he's pursued through the city, his classmate Hina appears in a robot of her own. She rescues him, and tells him cryptically that "Dio is waiting for you," before she disappears. This begins Aoba's new life as the pilot of the Free Treaty Alliance against the Great Zogiria Republic.



I extremely enjoyed this anime despite the fact its a mecha anime. This anime made me realize that the anime world is advancing and man, the graphics can prove that. The storyline can be....tweaked a bit but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the graphics and effects. Hopefully you guys will try this anime out if you liked Gundam Seed or Aquarion. I must take leave for now! I have to write my exams this week. Wish me luck!

Philippines~~ :)

I'm studying Biology at the same time.......I love my bear I got at comic con! Hahaaha!

So you guys have been wondering how my summer was. I pretty much didn't want to come back to Canada because I had the time of my life. I met so many people and even made friends. I took ALOT of pictures! Unfortunately I don't have time to post them all and I don't want to create stalkers on the internet so.....here it goes!

I left July 6th. I packed a lot of stuff and driving to the airport takes 2 hours from my place because I live in a town. Before we had to leave, a couple weeks before hand, my mother got my family to sleep during the day and stay awake at night in order to get used to the time difference once we landed. The plane ride was........ok? Let's just say 12 hours on the airplane was tiring. I watched a lot of movies.........7 in a row? I couldn't help it and at the same time, I wasn't tired at all.

The boys in Philippines are sooo nice! Every time I walked down the hallway of the school, they would come up and talk to me or say "Hi". Not to mention, they were utterly beautiful and good-looking. I had a couple crushes because every guy at the school could sing and dance amazingly. However, I still like this person so.......anyways. I honestly think that I have more guy friends there than in Canada. No offence to white boys but I prefer to marry a Filipino boy from now on! Haha!

My family had the opportunity to do some preforming for various churches in the Philippines and got some positive feedback from everyone. I played flute, piano and even sang a couple songs for everyone. It was very encouraging to have people appreciate your talents. 

I had the opportunity to go to the Bible College my parents attended. Everyone was extremely nice. I stayed in the girls dorm and my brother had the opportunity to stay with a couple of Hawaiian boys in a room. Seriously, two boys from Hawaii decided to come and have their vacation in the Philippines too! It was pretty awesome to talk to them. Not to mention, they spoke english. It was hard to try to speak filipino because my accent is just terrible. I can understand what my peers are saying without their craziness added but it was definitely a challenge.

I have been with many places with my cousins. I miss them so. One of the first things we did when we landed was go to the Mall of Asia. I was ecstatic. It was amazing. One Canadian Dollar was 40 pesos in the Philippines. Wow, just wow. I bought ALOT of stuff for cheap there. It was quite a great deal I'd say. However, there was this mall I wanted to go to but Manila got flooded! It rained 4 days straight before we left Philippines! My mother was worried our flights would get canceled! Fortunately, not! We got to the airport but there were alot of koreans who got stranded.  

Anyway, the Mall of Asia was EXTREMELY huge. You would have to go to stay for like a week to travel the whole mall. Unfortunately, my family stayed in Manila for two days until we had to my parents place in Isabella. 

The food was interesting. Even though my parents taught us to eat everything, there was some food I haven't seem before. You know, my diet in the Philippines pretty much rice and bananas on a typical day. I ate alot and I'm happy to say that I gained some weight (believe me, having such a high metabolism is bad especially when you don't eat enough) Anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading about my trip!

Hey guys! I'm alive! Haha! I'm sorry I haven't been able to post.......so busy! Haha! I'll try to post as much as possible since I am graduating this year.....I'll try VERY hard! Ok? I'm sorry. I've been on tumblr. It's addicting and beautiful. Anyway, let's get started!

School has been alright.....and pretty hard with all the drama going around. I broke up with my girlfriend (I know, I had a girlfriend. Don't freak out ok? My love life is kinda...crap) and homework is piling up. Today is the day to start to apply for colleges.

Oh my gosh!!! I haven't been posting so much lately................ARGH! I have an excuse! I had so much happening at once and January is known for exams. Yes, I had to write exams. I was on the verge of dying until I found out that I could exempt a core and option class. I was worried about math until I wrote the last two unit exams. I ended up passing with a 61%! I didn't want to risk losing that so I exempted the final exam! I was so happy that I cried! I'm so bad at math............grrr. :)

I also have been extremely addicted to tumblr. Oh my gosh. I'm not even kidding! I have been posting on tumblr more than blogger hahaha! XD Ok, I promise that I'll update more often! I have several unfinished posts so please look forward to them! :D

This manga was utterly cute. I loved the art and the storyline overall! The storyline seems a bit cliche but whatever. I was drawn into and I enjoyed the different characters. I really loved how the teacher didn't seem like an innocent type person. It's freaking awesome! Sensei is sooooo hot!!!! HAHA! I'm sorry about the short review but I have work early in the morning and...........................yeah. I haven't done a manga recommendation in such a long time! Feels a bit weird.

Quand j'etais jeune....

Wah!!!!!!! I accidently posted this..........oh well. Sigh.........story of my life, in french. Forgive my poor french and horrible mistakes for I am still learning. If you don't understand, I'm sorry. I haven't been posting alot lately because well, school is such a pain! This post explains it all! I had to write 20 complex sentences in french! Plus, I had so many math question that were due..........and I managed to finish all nine of all plus, my french project (this one....it wasn't very hard) and my physics. I still have to study my adverbs for a french test and maybe make people out of clay if I have time. That reminds me, I probably should finish my Shugo Chara Challenge! Stay updated on it! :)

La première photo: J'étais très mignonne quand j'étais jeune. Qu'est-ce qui est arrivé? En tout cas, quand je vivais à Philippines, je n'ai eu pas cheveux. Oui, j'étais chauve! Ma mère toujour mettait un petit chapeau sur ma tête mais je le detestais. J'adorais lancer mon chapeau sur la plancher parce qu'il était amusant. Après, je courais tout la maison de ma mère mais, ma mère était plus vite que moi et elle m'a capturé. Quelquefois, je commeçiais monter les meubles. Ma mere avait peur quand elle m'a trouvé. Aussi, je me souviens quand je ne mangeias pas quand j'étais jeune. Maintenant, j'ai très faim toujours! Je mangeias beaucoup de nourriture pour le petit déjeuner, le déjeuner et le dîner. (12 phrases)

La deuxième photo: Quand j'avais deux ans, je suis arrivée à Toronto avec ma famille. Mon père étais dans Toronto avant moi et ma famille parce qu'il est arrive tôt que nous pour trouver un travaille. Ma famille a eu besion beaucoup d'argent pour voyager à Canada et heureusement, mon pere a trouvé un travail. Justement, laquelle est arrivé avant mon petit frère, Isaac, était naître. Plus tard, mon petit frère, Isaac était naître dans Toronto. Comme moi, Schubert et Isaac étaient tellement mignons quand nous étions seulement bébés. Actuellement, moi et mon autre ennuyeux frëre, Schubert étions se taquiner mon petit frère parce qu'il est canadien, filipino et tout le monde dans la famille est filipino, canadien. Le reste de la famille est né dans Philippines. Shugo Chara Challenge Day 25: When you hear Easter do you think of the holiday or Shugo Chara?

Sorry guys! I was totally tired from going to the city last night. Road trips are always fun with friends! I had so much at the mall! My top things that I had to get was books, clothes and food. I got payed on Friday so I was extremely happy about that. I didn't expect that I would be going around with three other people. Man, we went to all sorts of places! My main partner was a makeup freak. The other two were book freaks like me. I'm not much for makeup but my partner made me think about it alot over the weekend. I just started putting eyeliner and mascara this year because well, I have a low self esteem and people always mistake my age. I'm in the third year of highschool and people mistake me for a grade seven, eight or nine kid. Do I seriously look that young?? Sigh...........

The interesting thing was, when I started putting makeup on in front of my younger friends (grades 6-8) they asked me and my main partner to give them makeovers. Being the artistic person I am, I was up for it. Makeup is a type of art! I think its cool! My little friends asked if I have done makeovers before and I said no. They were quite surprised and they were like, "You're like a pro!".

That made me really happy! :) Maybe I should be a makeup artist?

I bought two books: The Betrayal Knows my Name (Uraboku!) Volume 3 and Viewfinder (yaoi....) Volume 2. I was extremely happy when I found that manga in the Comic book store. I was like, "WAHHH!". My shopping buddies were like, 0 _ 0. "Calm down Ro!" (Ro is my nickname in real life...) I was just so happy! Viewfinder is so hot and extremely amazing that I was happy that it is getting published here.

I also bought two pairs of jeans (they were on sale!), a cute blue sweater and (my friend made me) powder for my face at the makeup store. The makeup there was beautiful.............but expensive! It wasn't worth it!

Back to the challenge! (Man, I keep talking!) I actually think about the holiday to be perfectly honest. When it comes to the eggs or something, I think about Shugo Chara. It's interesting. I wish I had a shugo chara!

Shugo Chara Challenge Day 17: Can you do Bala-balance?

I feel like a total failure but whatever. I'm (hopefully) doing better than some people. I have so much homework on my hands. I'm sorry guys, I have failed you! > x < I have mostly have Physics, Math (totally failing it right now......) and French (100% buddy!) homework. Today, I don't really have any homework because I finished it all at school. I just need to pack for a Church retreat to the city! I'm so excited!

Oh! My band has decided to go to Disney Land instead of Boston. I'm sooooooooo happy!! Disney Land was cheaper, more things to do there and just more fun! I can't wait! I have never been to Disney Land!!!! :)

Anyways, I unfortunately can't do Bala-balance. I can probably get the gist of it, but not a perfect pose. Rima will get mad at me! ^_^

The art is cute and amazing! The storyline makes me laugh really hard and I want the chapters to come out faster! It's a nice quick read and if you ever have the time, try reading this manga! It will cheer you up when your down.

Shugo Chara Challenge Day 4: Favorite Chara

I know I'm such a failure. I have school! School is mandatory! Anyways, it's so weird! Several of my friends my friend group has (or had) a birthday this month! Today is my great friend, Jen's birthday! You probably would know her by her blog, Inside my head. Yesterday was my good buddy, Destiny's birthday. She has a twin so it was quite interesting saying happy birthday to both of them. Also, we have a German exhange student named Jenny. I know, the german exchange students name is similar to Jen's! Jen just decided to change her name to Jen before Jenny came. It's a bit confusing because when I call Jenny (exchange student), Jen would just shift or something.

Anyways, I would just like to say, Happy Birthday to my best friend Jen! :D She's a Big Bang Theory fan! Here's some bloopers just for you! ^_^ BAZINGA! Haha!

Shugo Chara Challenge Day 3: Favorite Guardian~!

First thing I'd like to say is that I'm sorry!!! I've been quite busy with school! So much homework..........beaucoup des devoirs........(sorry about the french. My french brain hasn't been turned off yet). I don't want to do my homework!

Also, I have two cats in my house now! :D My mom's co-worker gave them to us! A couple days ago, I discovered that cats do have feelings too. It was quite heartbreaking actually. The true owner of the cats is dying and she is giving them to us. The co-worker came into the house was like, "I just need to get the cats. They seem to be crying in the backseat of the car. Give me a second". I was just like, "wow.......". That is pretty sad! I would cry too if I was living in some strangers house of my owner was dying! I felt bad for the cats but now they have us! Just so you know, the cat's name's are Fergie and Tuffy. Tuffy was pretty harsh to us by hiding in dark places and not coming out. He would growl at us but he has been doing better. Fergie is the nice cat that wanders around and actually let us pet him without growling at us.

 

Hmm..............................I'd say Kukai! Other than Amu, I love Kukai!! He is so hot~! I love his funny personality! He just makes the tense moments fun with Yaya! I loved the episode where he makes Tadase dress up as a girl! It was adorable and funny! It was great.............I miss those times!!! (Sorry for the spoilers!)

Shugo Chara Challenge Day 2: Favorite Character

Are you serious??? This challenge is making me think! I just finished a whole of math questions/reviews a few hours ago and my head is still hurting from thinking too much! The school day just ended four hours ago (we end at 3:30pm) and I'm still tired! School is so tiring! Today was the first official day! I got to see new first and second years entering our school. Plus, Exchange students! I love being a creeper and welcoming them to our country and friend group. It's fun! I want them to feel welcome. At first its awkward with the langauge barrier but its good for the exchange student for they are learning english. I remember when Amy first brought her cousin who just arrived from Korea. Amy's cousin's name is Elly. I think its soo cool when Koreans have their Korean name but when they come to Canada or something, they get to pick their English name. That is sooo neat! I wish I could do that! :)

Anyways, back to Elly. Elly is slightly older than our friend group but she doesn't look her age. We asians look younger than we look depending who you are talking too. Elly came to Canada to learn and expand her english. That's great for her! I would never be able to leave the comfort of my home in Canada and learn another in Korea or something. My Social teacher discovered my blog and was like, "You should go to South Korea and go to school there! Did you know that we have a sister school there?" Wow, my Social teacher is funny. I love her!

Day 2: Favorite Character

I honestly have no clue. All the characters are great, cute and cool by themselves but together as a group? I'm in love with them!!! I just don't know........I guess I love Amu, Ikuto and Kukai because well, Ikuto and Kukai are hot and have such funny personalities that clash with Amu. I love Tadase because he is utterly adorable but............he will never top Ikuto!!! Sorry Kukai....you will be my third hot guy on my Shugo Chara character list!
