Plastic Surgery...

I recently just finished watching a Korean movie called "200 Pounds Beauty". Man................it was so beautiful~!!!!! My eyes are still extremely puffy and its midnight (I hope my parents aren't awake!) so I'm sorry if nothing makes sense. When I'm tired, nothing ever makes sense. (WARNING: RANT AHEAD)

Anyways, why name this blog post "Plastic Surgery"? Well, the movie was about a fat and ugly girl named Hanna who sang for a extremely pretty and skinny girl named Ammy. Ammy is a famous singer across Korea. Little that everyone knows, Ammy uses Hanna's voice for concerts and albums. In the end, Ammy is in front of everyone dancing and lip sycning while Hanna does the real work backstage.

Horrible right? That's not the half of it.

Hanna has this love for the producer and he is really nice to her (he is!!) until Ammy goes about humilating her at his birthday party. When he goes to confront Ammy, Hanna overhears their conversation that tears her heart apart. That jerk tells Ammy to be nice to Hanna because if she walks from the company, Ammy's "career" will crumble. The horrible thing is, he says, "We are just using her". Hanna had enough of it and goes to get plastic surgery on her whole body. She comes back a year later as Jenny with a super model body and a new attitude of becoming a REAL singer through Ammy's company.

"200 Pounds Beauty" is just amazing. I laughed hard, enjoyed the singing and loved (or hated) each and everyone of the characters. I cried so much at the end, I'm not even kidding. This movie is great to watch with loved ones or friends. I recommend this movie to anyone!

Since I was bored, I decided to look up on what plastic surgery is. I know, its quite obvious what plastic surgery is but hey, it would be interesting to know more about it. Plastic surgery is widely known for beauty such as boob implants, (disgusting...you can totally tell those are fake) but plastic surgery can also help with burns, scars, hand surgerys.....etc. I won't go on about it because well, this is going to turn into a report! Back to the movie! (Ranting will commence..........NOW!)

This movie made me realize the true meaning of beauty. I think I'm tearing up again.....................anyways. Even though external beauty is always what everyone looks for (I'm guilty of that....), its what the inside counts. I don't want a beautiful hot man with a horrible attitude. I'd rather have an average looking guy who is nice and (my type...) easy to get along with. Hanna has made an interesting point about plastic surgery, "It's for those who lack confidence". I agree with that! I know there are tons of downsides to plastic surgery but hey, don't judge people who get them. I just hate the type of girls who are naturally pretty and get a freaking nose job because they think its not pretty enough for them. It's quite irritating when people just get it on a whim. But that's how we look at it. I won't judge them and I'm pretty sure they aren't confident in themselves so people, don't say anything bad about them. They have a life that you will never see so...........yeah. I just hate it when people go about and judge other people. I mean, no offence but, look at yourself first before judging other people.

Just so you people know, I too have confidence problems. I'm skinny but not anerexic. I love food too much to leave it. When I don't eat, my mother thinks I'm sick or somethings wrong. So, you people out there experiencing confidence problems, don't take it out on yourself or other people. If you want to change your appearance, do it the safe the way. What I'm saying is, if you want to lose weight, don't go to diet pills or not eating. I get worried when my friends don't eat! If you want to lose weight, just adjust your diet so you will lose weight slowly. Don't do anything quickly, it will be dangerous for your body. Do not go to plastic surgery. I'm sorry. My personal opinion is that you won't feel like yourself. Sometimes when I put makeup on, I don't feel like I'm me and I'm hiding behind the makeup. It's like a mask or a shell. It can make you pretty but once its gone, people iwll look at you differently. Plastic surgery can be like that. I know I'm going to spoil parts of the movie but when the main characters kiss, the main character who got plastic surgery, doesn't want the guy to touch her boobs.

You won't feel like yourself. The main character has fake boobs and thats.................weird. It was awkward to even watch and I could tell it was a big turn off. Anyways.....................respect yourself! I know its hard but hey, you aren't alone! You are beautiful. I hate it when people call me beautiful because well, I think they are joking. I'm not joking and I hope no one is going pull that, "your beautiful" on me. It's just my nature to reject people when someone says that. If I reject you, I'm just embarrased ok? That phrase reminds me of a person.............I won't go into more depth with that. Sorry. But I don't get that phrase everyday and I'm pretty sure everyone too so, tell someone that. Someone close or someone you don't know, it will make their day or creep them out. :)

Drama Challenge Day 3: Your Favorite Female Lead Character

I'm sorry!! I had so much stuff happening last night that I forgot about my drama challenge! Other than awards night last night (I won the band award!), I'm pretty guilty of other things.....I was caught up reading a novel that made my heart jump so much. I pretty much read that instead of my
blogging challenge. Luckly, I just schedule my yaoi posts so I didn't have to write them today when I actually wrote them two days ago. I'm glad my friend told me about it. I just love scheduling them! Saves me so much time. I can just do it all at once!

But I never have the time......sigh. By the way, the picture you see above, the manga isn't so bad. We fan girls love to interpet scenes differently. :D

Anyways, don't blame me, if you had sometimg that you loved so much come out to a form that you can save on your computer, you can totally understand my feeling right now. I was reading Sekai-chi Hatsukoi~ Yokozawa Takafumi. This novel is making me so happy right now! :D :D And, its nothing bad. I swear! > x <

Now, I must finish my post about my favorite female lead character!

Too be honest, I have quite a few favorite female characters. I'll just list them if you don't mind! They aren't in order. I'll put links on drama's I've already did recommendations on them. If not, I'll do them right on this post! If a drama catches your eye, please, go and watch the drama!

Let me start out with the character Myung Wol from the Korean Drama, Spy Myung Wol. I believe I haven't done a recommendation (I swear I did! I can't find it...wait, nevermind!!) on this drama so just scroll down.

Link to Drama recommendation: http://chocochan-chibiko.blogspot.ca/2011/11/my-addiction-to-action-and-mystery.html

Anyways, Myung Wol has such a great character. She's a military person. Being trained all her life to be this heartless (not really) and tough. Of course, she hasn't experienced dating or having a boyfriend. I think its really cute and awesome! Sigh. Her fighting moves are soo extremely cool! > x < She is so pretty.......

Han Ye Seul plays Myung Wol from Spy Myung Wol

Gil Rim Im from Secret Garden is also one of my favorite female lead characters. She is so cool! She acts as a stunt double for movies and she can fight and defend herself. She is very nice and quite humble. Plus, she is extremely pretty~! Gil Rim Im is played by Ha Ji-won. Oh! You know what I've noticed? Most of my favorite female lead characters are very atheltic or can fight and defend themselves. I love girls like that! They are so cool!!

Gil Rim Im's work costume! So cool~! >///<

Scene from Secret Garden.

Ha Ji-won also plays Kang Ha-yeong in my most favorite Korean movie of all time, 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant. I know its a movie but I just wanted to throw it out there because well, if any of you are bored and want a great romantic comedy korean movie to watch, 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant is a great movie.

Title: 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant
Type: Korean Movie
Genres: Comedy, Drama, Romance, Slice of Life

He demands she pay him $3000 on the spot. She escapes from him, leaving her wallet behind.

Hyung-Joon stalks her, demanding money to pay for his car. Since she is a poor high school student Hyung-Joon writes up a "Enslavement Agreement" for Ha-Young in order to pay for the damage to his car. Ha-Young is thrown into a nightmarish slave life for 100 days, running his errands, i.e.: cleaning his house, carrying his shopping, and cleaning his car.

By accident she finds out that the damage to Hyung-Joon's car that's only $10! She then takes her revenge. However, before she knows it Hyung-Joon shows up at her house as her new tutor! He once again takes advantage of her, but soon Ha-Young finds herself falling head over heels for Hyung-Joon. But what happens when he drops out of her life just when she needs him most?

The original Korean title can be literally translated as "my love, the asshole," or, more roughly, as "my love, the no-manners".

I really love this movie! Too bad it was short........even though the plot was cliche, I enjoyed it. The actors were so cute and downright funny. It was great!! > x <

One exception (or two) to the action and tough female leads are Go Mi Nam or Go Mi Nyu from You're Beautiful and Lee Kyu Won from Heartstrings. Funny, Go Mi Nam and Lee Kyu Won are played by Park Shin Hye. She does a wonderful job! Go Mi Nam and Lee Kyu Won are both normal characters. However, Go Mi Nam has to cross dress in order to cover her brother. I really love that! Lee Kyu Won has to learns to sing and leave the classical stuff for the rock.........its so cool! I respect them both!!

Lee Kyu Won on the left.

Since I love Go Mi Nam more than Lee Kyo Won, I'll put a whole bunch of pictures of her! She is just so cute! I love Park Shin Hye's hairstyle for this drama. She pulled it off very well and I'm diggin it! I want that hair cut now.......

Go Mi Nam

I remember this episode! She looked so gorgeous with that wig!

A.N.G.E.L.L band members! Go Mi Nam is the second on the left

I have that plushie!! Well, in a smaller form.......but I love it anyways!

One more thing, Park Shin Hye has such a beautiful voice....

The Hunger Games!

I'm so happy its Spring Break! It's been for a while now but you know, I never have the time to blog. Anyways, so far, my spring break is going very well. My family went on a road trip and my best friend came along. We bought really cool green and red jeans for her at the mall. I don't know what's wrong with me but suddenly, makeup fascinates me. There was really cool eyeshadow and I just had to buy it.

Just so you know, I'm a girl and makeup would disgust me and it will never usually go on my face very often. I do wear makeup for choir concerts. But why did I buy some? It never has occured to me that makeup makes me sorta happy and I'm pretty sure I'm going through a phase. Why am I talking about this?

Just ignore that paragraph. I like to go on about my life at times if you care. It's nice to talk about my life once in a while.

File:Josh Hutcherson 2012.jpg

Josh Hutcherson :D

So yesterday, my family and I went to the movies and watched The Hunger Games! I have read every single book of The Hunger Games and I was soo excited to finally go and see it! The actor for Peeta (Josh Hutcherson: Zathura, Firehouse Dog) and Cato are really hot! Like oh my goodnes! They were pretty accurate with the appearances and personalities! It's amazing!

Don't know what I'm talking about? Time for a summary!

Title: The Hunger Games
Author: Suzanne Collins
Genres: Romance, Action, Tragedy, Adventure, Fantasy
Age Rating: 13+ Teen
Status: Completed (3 books in total)

Summary: Set in the future, the world is split into 12 districts. Each district is responsible for some kind of resource, for example, District 12 does mining of coal. All of the districts are controlled by the Capitol. To show how powerful the Capitol is, they created the hunger games. The hunger games works by getting one girl and one boy from each district that are called tributes which sums up to 24 kids in an arena and fight to the death until one is left. The arena is set up to be a wilderness where tributes have to survive on their own and kill each other. The last one will be victor and will be sent to the Victor houses in the Capitol where they will live in utter luxury. If you win, you will never be picked again.

In order to picked for the Hunger Games, each child starting from the age of 12 will have one of their names put into the box for the reaping which when they draw at random for two tributes. Each year they age, they will put the childs name more than once. It will stop once you turn 18. If you weren't picked, then you are lucky. It's difficult when your poor because the child will have to have their name put in more than once so they can get more food for their family. The more times you get your name in, you will be likely chosen.

Katniss Everdeen is a 16 year old girl who lost her father at the age of 11 during a mining accident. He left her, her mother and her 12 year old sister, Primrose Everdeen. Katniss would go beyond the District border and go hunt with her bow and arrow. Often, her best friend Gale would go with her. Gale wants to escape to the woods with his family and with her family. Katniss doesn't want to have kids because of the Hunger Games. She would be too scared for them.

During the reaping, Prim's name was called even though her name was only put in once. However, Katniss immediately volunteers instead. So she is the girl tribute along with Peeta Malark who is the same age as her. They go to the Capitol and get cleaned up. They meet their trainer, Haymitch who was a former Hunger Games winner and learn how to get sponsers, people who send things when a tribute needs something the most such as water when the tribute is dying of thirst. Tributes get evalutaed to get attention of the crowd and sponsers. Soon after evaluation the games soon start. But Haymitch tells Peeta and Katniss to pretend to like each other so they can have sponsers and attention. It seems that Peeta truley likes Katniss but Katniss isn't sure about her true feelings and just goes with it.

The first book was just amazing! I read the book over and over again! I could not put the book down and I read the whole series in one night! The storyline is just so high packed, gripping and suspenseful! Suzanne Collins mixes in Action and Romance together so nicely! I really love the "Star crossed lovers" thing. It makes me smile and blush at the same time!

The movie was surprisingly acurate. Even though there was a few gaps here and there, it was overall amazing! It made people who never read the books informed. I just don't know how to explain it but even though they did skip parts, they made it feel whole. I'm sorry if you don't know what I'm talking about but you will if you watched the movie.

I really hope that they make a second movie based off of the second book in the series, Catching Fire. I bet it will be amazing! I want some more of Peeta and Katniss!! > x <

Happy Birthday to my Father! :D

Finally my review!
Ok this is what I think about his movie......It is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!! It is now my number 1 movie of all time! After watching it I stayed up all night thinking about it! I couldn't stop thinking about it! Just to warn you......You may cry during a few scenes......so beware! Oh and also...it may get you thinking about it after you finished watching!

You have to listen to Garnet by Oku Hanako after you watch this!!! Or now.........Whatever it is a good song! After I discovered what the words meant of the Japanese version, I was balling!!! The chorus was just, how should I put this? Just......sad and sweet! I really love the song even though it made me cry......but this song is in the movie so yeah. Oku Hanako inserts some of her songs in this movie and I really love them! Especially the piano part!
