SCHOOLS OUT FOR THE SUMMER!!! YAY! :D I finally don't have to wake up early and do homework at night. I'm soo happy!! Summer is just getting started! But.....I'll miss my friends! I'll see them next year! Well I'm not going anywhere exciting for the summer. I might get a job and so on. I want to earn a whole bunch of money and buy a lot of books!! :D
Since Exams and school was getting in my way, I didn't have time to post any thing about manga. I apologize! I was just really busy with school. Anyways, as I said in my last post, I decided to make up for my loss of manga recommendations and put it all together in one huge post. Sorry that I took long......I needed time to think about what manga's or anime's to put in this post. You know its not easy finding pictures and summarizing things that you haven't read or watched in such a long time. I know there isn't much but I'll post more up later. I'm saving some for other posts in the future. There is a lot of different Manga's/Anime's here in this post. Shonen and Shojo together! So scroll down to look for a good one to read or watch. They are not in order! Have fun!!! > x < Have a great summer!!!
Starting off with a Shonen......

I really love this manga/anime!! Its so.....so......interesting!! This is the first time that I've seen the supporting characters develop with the main characters. Its interesting! This time it is up to two high school students, the incredibly handsome Tasuku and the love-allergic girl Honomi, to teach the Sakura Child about love.
Just to tell you, this manga doesn't really seem like a Shonen manga at all! From the beginning this manga had a kind of Shojo aura to it. I actually am curious of how this manga will turn out. So far it is pretty funny and good. I really love it! The art is pretty good. Its pretty cute. Also the characters are really funny. The character of each character clashes nicely together. They all balance out.

But what will happen to Shirayuki when Prince Raji sends his men to find her? Who is Zen?
The story is ok. A pretty typical shojo story. Its kinda like the story Snow white but a lot more different. It can be a bit slow at some parts but overall I really love it. Its really romantic....^_^ The art gets better and better and I really really really really really love it! Zen is pretty hot.....

Their high school life is anything but typical: Mizuki is the "prince" of her all-girl school while Akira is the "princess" of the neighboring all-boy school. A series of comical events brings them closer together, even as the prejudice of the people around them tries to pull them apart.
The art is just soo good and the story is really romantic and cute. I really love it! Man, the guys are sooooo extremely hot! Espicaly when Akira gets mad.......(melts) he is sooooooooooo hot~!!!!! KYAH~!!!

Just what is this feeling? Ninako's first love is starting!
The story really got me. I don't know why I hesitated to read this manga. Oh well. I first thought that it would turn into, I don't know, something mushy and crash and burn. I misjuged it.....the story is really cute, full of life and youth. The feeling of love is something every one wants to experience in their life time. I think the story is brilliant and well thought. I have never read anything like this manga.
The art caught me by surprise. I didn't expect much from the art but I found myself loving the art because its just really adorable and suits the manga. The way the Mangaka draws out the expressions of each character, its really good and amazing. :D

That's a tall order, since Misha seems to know almost nothing about life on Earth! What will become of the two of them, will love flurish from their friendship?!
Man!! The art for this manga is utterly adorable! I never knew that this anime/manga was a Shonen. The art made it seem like a Shojo manga/anime. As you know, the creator for Kamichama Karin is also the creator for Pita Ten.
The story is a bit depressing. I won't say anymore.....I still love it though. There is full fun and romance in it. It may seem like a young and carefree storyline but it also has its serious side. The ending for manga really upset me a bit but it made sense.

Summary: Tsukiko, the only girl who transferred to a school that was previously a all boys school. It was recently changed from all-boys school to co-ed. Since the area where the school is conveniently rural and the rather exclusive curriculums the school has, up until now the heroine is the only one female who enrolled to the school.
This anime is based on a game. I don't really know what to say.......the art is really amazing. So many hot guys.......drool. Looks like there is another style I want to master. Each episode is pretty short. I kinda don't get the storyline........I don't care, there are hot guys are pretty hot!!!

So one rainy day they gather at the told school to tell ghost stories, hoping to attract one of the suspected spirits.
No ghosts materialize, but Mai and her friends do meet Kazuya Shibuya, the handsome young owner of Shibuya Psychic Research, who's been hired to investigate paranormal activity at the school. Also at the scene are an exorcist, a Buddhist monk, a woman who can speak with the dead, and an outspoken Shinto priestess. Surely one of them will have the talents to solve this mystery!
I really love the story line!!!! It is really really really really really amazing!!!! Might be the most interesting and intriging shojo story line that I've ever read!!! I get really excited when it comes to Ghosts and stuff. I really enjoy the Fantasy,

Fortunately, his older brother, Seimei was there to protect him and be there for him. But Seimei was found unexpectedly dead. No one knows how or why.
Later a man claiming to be Seimei's friend appears before Ritsuka. He informs Ritsuka that his name is "Loveless", and that he is a 'sacrifice' - while Soubi is his 'fighter'. Since their first meeting, Ritsuka finds himself drawn into a bizarre secret world where teams of two; the 'fighter' and 'sacrifice', combat each other using mystical verbal spells.
To be honest, this was my first ever Shonen Ai I've read. I was pretty young (11?) at the time and I never realized that this was a Shonen Ai. When I saw guys kissing, I was like "Wha?!" and then I went on because the storyline was really getting good. I didn't really care, I just read it. Nothing bad happens past kissing so if your scared of Yaoi like me sometimes then your good.
The story line was kinda confusing but I read it over again and I seemed to like it. The storyline is really suspenseful. Everytime I read a part of the manga and stop always make me want to have more because it stops at such a mysterious and suspenseful part. The art I really love. Its so cute and mature at the same time!

Summary: Yomiko Readman, also known as the Paper.
This is maybe my first time saying this but......the anime is wayyyy better than the manga! The story line is continued and there is more action in it. I enjoyed it more than the manga. In the manga it kinda just ended there. The OVA is where everything started and the anime continues from the OVA. If your interested, you must watch the OVA first then the anime! (Read or Die T.V) It might make more sense!
Differences between manga and anime- (Manga) Continues and then stops. Still very interesting and good but it just ends. People say that Read or Die is a sequel to Read or Dream but not entirely. Its still good but the anime is more interesting. The manga for Read or Dream have different characters and a storyline in comparison to the manga of Read of Die. (Anime) Might be a complete different story than the manga. But the story continues and goes into more in depth. Characters of Read or Dream and Read or Die cross in the anime.
By the way, there is a sequel to Read or Die. Its called Read or Dream. The OVA mainly focuses on Yomiko Readman (Original main character- Read or Die) then the anime focuses on the three main characters in Read or Dream. Here I'll even do a recommendation!
Title: Read or Dream

Summary: (Wikipedia) Anita King, Michelle Cheung and Maggie Mui run the "Paper Sisters Detective Company" in Hong Kong. They serve a variety of clients, seeking lost books, pets, and even lost authors! Maggie and Michelle's expansive book budget often causes them to be out of money, and when they are not working they argue with Anita about how to maintain the apartment and eat.
Ok just to clarify, you must watch the Read or Die OVA then watch the Movie then Read or Die T.V. The OVA is where everything first happened and its where the original Read or Die main character appears in- Yomiko Readman. She appears in both the OVA and Movie but disappears in the T.V version for awhile. In the beginning of Read or Die T.V, you will meet Read or Dream's three main characters- Michelle, Anita and Maggie.

Summary: High school girl, Karin Maaka (pronounced Ma-Aka!) happens to be a vampire.......not just a ordinary vampire, a vampire that GIVES blood. Instead of sucking blood like a normal vampire, she gives her victims blood. (Crazy right?) Once a month she expriences intense bleeding from her nose (I'm serious, it gushes out and believe me, its not a normal human thing). Last time she checked, giving HER blood to her victims make them more positive and happy. To make things more un-normal, a transfer student transfers to her school. Apparently Karin's blood reacts to him which makes her blood gush out even faster, even on normal days. What is going on?
I really love this manga......its really funny! The storyline is pretty brilliant and great! Also the art is good too! I love who Yuna Kagesaki draws the eyes......its really pretty!! Even the characters expressions are really entertaining to look at. Its funny! The characters character are just brilliant.
I think the manga is better....wait a second.......the manga IS better!! The anime just scared the life out of me. It contained alot more nudity than the manga. Its really scary for me.

This manga/anime is really really really really beautiful!!!! YOU MUST WATCH IT!! Its sooo beautiful and touching! When they get ghosts to pass on......I think its a beautiful thing. I really love the beautiful, peaceful piano playing in the background......sorry I just had to mention that.
The art and animation.......its great! The storyline is awesome!! :D

Title: Sorceror Orphen, 魔術士オーフェン Majutsushi Ōfen
Author: (Story) Akita Yoshinobu and (Art) Sawada Hajime
Genres: Action, Adventure, Shonen, Fantasy, Supernatural, Comedy
Reading Direction: Right to Left
Age Rating: 16+ Older Teen
Status: Completed
Summary: (mangafox.com) Orphen, the tough-talking sorcerer-for-hire, is putting his wand-wielding skills to use for quite a price, but with a boneheaded companion and a wide-eyed pupil tagging along, they can't help but attract a little trouble! Magical mercenaries are all around, and the hair-triggered Orphen is no stranger to a good fight, so he'll have to cast his spells in record time to stay in the game of magic in Orphen.
This anime/manga is pretty interesting. I don't know how I got into this one. I guess the art and the storyline got me into it. There is a couple differences in the manga and the anime. I won't name alot but there is one that I wanted to mention. I'm sorry if I get a few things wrong. Its been such a long time since I've read the manga and watched to anime. Forgive me!
The storyline is a bit different in the anime. All lot happens and the storyline goes a different direction. I can't say anything more because it would contain a major spoiler but I just wanted to clarify, the storyline is different in the anime! The manga's storyline is bit more carefree and it starts out before the anime's storyline. But both the manga and anime have pretty dark storylines. I really enjoy the mystery, comedy and the magic in the storyline.
The art is pretty good. Its average. The animation is good when it comes to the fighting scenes. I'm not going to complain about it. Orphen in the anime is pretty hot. I love him! He is soooo cool! :D
Arigatou~!!
